In the Play & Create 2A basic concepts about environment, space, places and cities are introduced through hands-on exercises. Pupils are guided to make pictures and models, and, for example, understand the concept of a map.
Learning is based and progresses through hands-on experimentation while different materials and modelling techniques are introduced. Pupils familiarize with different 3D working methods that benefit the development of their fine motor skills. They are encouraged to wonder, ask questions and use collaborative discussions for building up knowledge while they are guided to set goals for their projects and manage the full process of completing a project. They practice self-assessment with their own project work.
Suitable for children who have completed Play & Create and 1B.
