Snow castle – something from the dream world that will definitely inspire the imagination and creativity! On the snow architecture course the pupils get to work with an interesting natural material, snow, that totally has its own personality. The nature and characteristics of snow differ from day to day depending on the weather conditions. In this joyful hands-on course we will test several ways of working with snow and ice, and actually design and build a snow structure using molds to achieve a durable structure. Building in 1:1 scale is a powerful and exciting experience and so fun, one doesn’t even notice that they are learning at the same time! Snow building is phenomenal learning at its best and teaches handicraft skills, as well as collaboration, teamwork and creativity.
