On the animation course the pupils learn how to plan and realize their own animation movie step by step. They will learn about different animation techniques such as traditional animation by drawing, wax animation and stop motion and get to test several different techniques. The pupils will get first hand experience in all the different phases of completing an animation movie, such as writing the manuscript, creating the scenery and characters, filming and editing the movie. The course focuses on a dynamic, hands-on approach to movie making because we believe thereʼs no better way to learn than doing it hands-on! At the final day of the course the completed animations are always so fun to watch! Within the process the pupils will practise planning, collaboration, persistence as well as creative thinking.
